YOLO
Lisa Carroll | 2025
Acrylic on canvas
16 × 20 inches
Lisa’s Ladies series
A wide-eyed woman tumbles through a swirling blue sky, her exaggerated limbs scattered among white clouds. Pink and golden tones bring warmth to her figure, while looping lines and spiraling clouds fill the painting with movement. Her hands frame her eyes as if she’s taking in the wild ride.
Part of my ongoing Lisa’s Ladies series, YOLO brings humor to the feeling of letting go. Life rarely keeps all our parts neatly together, but there can be joy in the chaos. This playful painting celebrates taking chances, embracing imperfection, and living while we’re here.
