I’ve been making art longer than I’ve been showing it.

I make art to get things off my chest. I make art to explain things I don’t always know how to say. And sometimes I make art simply because I can’t help myself.

I love color. I love texture. I’ve been an art lover for as long as I can remember and started painting in high school. In 1995, I began painting seriously, but mostly in secret. As I built my real estate career, I was afraid to be public with this other side of myself.

So for nearly 30 years, most people knew one version of me.

Eventually, I decided it didn’t matter anymore.

Now I paint women, faces, landscapes, memories, feelings, strange ideas and whatever else insists on coming out. Some of it has meaning from the beginning. Sometimes I don’t understand what I’ve made until much later.

I’m done hiding the artist.
Now I’m here to show the world.
