Peace
Lisa Carroll | 2023
Mixed media on canvas
24 × 30 inches
Lisa’s Ladies series
A bold pink figure fills the canvas against a lively green and turquoise background. Red and white shapes flow across her body, while silver accents and sparkling embellishments add texture and shine. A black, fringed shawl falls along one side, and a peace symbol rests near her waist.
Part of my ongoing Lisa’s Ladies series, Peace brings together vulnerability, strength, and a little flair. Her raised arms and open posture suggest the freedom of feeling comfortable in your own skin.
