A doorway opens into another doorway, and then another. The space keeps pulling us forward, but never tells us where we are going.
Painted in 2001, Passage reflects an early fascination with distorted spaces, uncertain destinations, and the feeling that there is always another threshold ahead. More than two decades later, those same ideas continue to surface in my work.
