Lover’s Walk
Lisa Carroll | 2008
Acrylic on canvas
16 × 20 inches
Lisa’s Ladies series
Two figures lean toward each other as they walk hand in hand beneath a golden sun. A vivid turquoise background, scattered red squares, and a green foreground surround their elongated bodies and expressive faces.
Lover’s Walk captures the tenderness and humor of moving through life together. With loose brushwork and wonderfully imperfect figures, this painting celebrates connection, companionship, and finding someone whose particular kind of weird fits your own.
