A Place to Dream
Lisa Carroll | 2026
Acrylic on canvas
16 × 20 inches
Lisa’s Ladies series
A woman settles into a purple chair with a little dog resting on her lap, surrounded by a patchwork sky of blues and soft white clouds. Her asymmetrical face and thoughtful expression give her a curious, daydreaming presence, while lavender shapes across her lap echo the chair’s gentle colors.
Part of my ongoing Lisa’s Ladies series, A Place to Dream celebrates the comfort of a quiet moment, a faithful companion, and room for your mind to wander. Playful geometry and familiar details create a world where rest and imagination belong together.
